The Second Annual Religious Educators Conference
This annual event brings together educators and S&I teachers from across the globe. Hosted on the campus of Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, the conference will feature:
- Keynote address by Elder D. Todd Christofferson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles on Thursday, June 12, at 6 p.m. (MDT), at the Conference Center Theater in Salt Lake City
- Opening session with Elder Alvin F. Meredith III, president of Brigham Young University–Idaho, and Elder Clark G. Gilbert, Commissioner of the Church Educational System, on Friday, June 13, at 8:30 a.m., in Provo
Prepare for the Conference
Elder Clark G. Gilbert said, “The lasting impact of our religious educators comes as they help students become lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ.” We invite all personnel to prepare for the conference by reading “The Power Is in Them.” This address was given by Elder Gilbert at the S&I Annual Training Broadcast on January 23, 2025.
In preparation for Elder Christofferson’s devotional to religious educators and the conference that follows, please prepare by reading the “Invite Diligent Learning” section of Teaching in the Savior’s Way. Come prepared reflecting on the following questions:
- In what ways did the Savior invite diligent learning in those he taught?
- How can I more effectively help those I teach take responsibility for their learning?
