The Function of mySeminary
The function of mySeminary is to help parents register their students for Seminary, track reading progress and attendance, prepare students for Seminary graduation, and provide helpful information about their local Seminary program.
Your Family
When you first log into mySeminary, you will be brought to the page that shows all of your children that are attending Seminary or that are eligible to attend.
Next to each student’s name, you will see their graduation date and a list of quick actions. Clicking on an action will lead you to the page where that action can be performed.
- Register for Seminary will take you to the registration page for that student.
- Missing credit for graduation will take you to the Graduation Summary page, which shows all the credits the student has earned.
- Needs to make up absence(s) will take you to the Class Sessions page, where you can view and excuse your student’s absences.
Student Page
Click on a child to view their student page. This is the main page where you can access all the different features of mySeminary. You can quickly switch between which student page you are viewing by clicking the 3 bars at the upper left-hand corner and selecting another child from the left side of the screen.
In the upper right-hand corner of the screen, there will be a profile icon with your name beside it. Click on the icon to access more options and settings.

Registration
To begin the registration process, click the Registration button found on the student page. For an in-depth walkthrough on the registration process, click here to access the mySeminary registration guide.
Note: Even if your child is currently attending Seminary, they will have a red exclamation mark next to their name if they haven’t yet been registered for the upcoming school year.
Reading Progress
The Reading Progress tab has an intuitive overview of your child’s reading accomplishments. You may view their progress for the current term, or for any previous term by interacting with the dropdown menu. Below this, the percentage of completed readings for the term is shown. You may mark readings that your child has completed by clicking the checkbox next to the scripture reference.
Class Sessions
The Class Sessions tab shows your child’s attendance data. You may choose to view their data for any previous term, but by default it will show the current term. You can also see the percentage of days your child attended this semester (Current Progress) and what percentage of the term they have completed (Term Progress). Next to this, if your child has completed their final assessment for the term, their score will be displayed here (Assessment Percentage).
Below is the calendar, where you may excuse your child’s absences by clicking on the days that you would like to excuse. If you would like an in-depth guide on this process, click here.
Beneath the calendar is the Class Information section. Here you can see the building where your child attends Seminary and their room number.
Graduation Summary
This menu shows your child’s progress towards graduation. A student must earn 4 credit hours to graduate Seminary. One credit hour is generally equivalent to two semesters of Seminary; however, this may differ based on your local seminary program.
Here, you can see how many credit hours your child has earned, how many terms they have attended, and which ones they earned credit for.
Below these statistics, you can see your child’s current seminary course. This will include the topic they are studying for the term, the teacher's name, as well as the year and term. Each of your child’s previous classes will be listed beneath the current class.
Seminary Information
This menu shows the Seminary program your child is enrolled in, the meetinghouse address and phone number, and the contact information for the principal and the Administrative Assistant. If a parent or student should need assistance with mySeminary, they should reach out to the Administrative Assistant of the program.
