Finding a Class on myInstitute

Find Classes Near Me 

On the home page of myInstitute, there is a quick and easy way to find an institute class to attend. Follow the steps below. 

  1. 1. Select the Find Classes Near Me button.  

  1. 2. Either enter your location or select Use My Location if you have location services enabled in your browser.  

  1. 3. Use any filters or search topics as needed.  

  1. Search class topics. Filters courses using keywords such as Book of Mormon, Restoration, etc.  

  1. Class Location. Choose between in-person and online. 

  1. Choose Language. Any languages available in your immediate area will be an option to select here.  

  1. Spaces Available. Check this option to only see classes that have spaces available for new students to register.  

  1. Timing. When you would like to begin attending—chose between Happening Today, In Progress, or Upcoming.  

  1. Desired Days. Select which days you would be available to attend institute.  

  1. Times Available. Choose your available times—Morning, Afternoon, or Evening.  

  1. Course Type. Standard, Special Education, or Online.  

  1. Course. All courses available in your area will appear in a dropdown here.  

  1. Teacher. Select any teachers you would like to take an institute class with.  

  1. Online, Remote, Transfer Credit. Additional filters to narrow down your class options. The transfer credit covers classes that will provide CES credit.  

  1. 4. Select a class and click Register. 

  1. 5. You can choose to Login & Register or do a Quick Signup.  

 

Student Dashboard 

You can also search for a class from your Dashboard on myInstitute.  

  1. 1. Navigate to your dashboard by selecting your person icon in the top right corner, then select My Dashboard.  

  1. 2. Select Start by finding a class. 

 

3. This will take you to step 2 from Find Classes Near Me. Follow the remaining instructions.  

 

Explore 

The Explore option allows several different ways of searching for an institute program or class.  

  1. 1. Select the Explore dropdown.  

  1. Find Classes will lead you to step 2 from the Find Classes Near Me instructions. Follow the remaining steps from there.  

  1. Find Online Institute will take you to a new page, showing you the available online-only institutes and programs in your area. This will only work if you have your location enabled in your browser.  

  1. Find Physical Institute will bring you to the same search page from Find Classes Near Me. Begin on step 2 for instructions on how to continue.
