A church account will allow you as a student to register for Seminary and Institute classes and track your progress in these programs. As a parent, creating a church account will allow you to register your child for Seminary. Follow the steps below to create a church account:
- Go to account.churchofjesuschrist.org/register.
- Select Create a New Account.
- Select the location where you live.
- Create a username.
Note: When creating a username, the following characters will cause issues within church systems if used in a user’s username: extended characters (double-byte, umlauts, tildes), email addresses (namely the @ sign), ampersands (&), number signs (#), more than one period (.). Periods must not be at the beginning of end of the username. Be mindful there is a 64-character limit as well.
- Enter your Membership Record Number.
Note: If you are not a member, select the box that says I am NOT a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
- Enter your contact information under the User portion of registration.
- To complete the process, verify your email address.
Note: After you create your account, you can edit your profile at any time.
