If your child is having trouble accessing their online Canvas Seminary class, there are multiple reasons this may be happening. Follow the troubleshooting steps below to try and resolve what you can before contacting your child’s teacher:
- If your child sees an error screen that says, “Failed to Log in: Canvas doesn’t have an account for user: 123456”, send an email to the child’s teacher letting them know that they cannot log in with their church username and screenshot of the error. The teacher can escalate this problem to the proper support so your child may get this issue resolved.
2. If your child receives an error message from the Church’s log in page, please confirm that they are logging in with the correct spelling of their church username. If the password to their church account has been forgotten, please follow the steps provided by the login page to create a new password.
3. If an error message pops up that you do not recognize, please provide a screenshot to your child’s teacher and they will be able to resolve the error or escalate the problem to the proper support channels.
