The Files feature in Canvas allows for storing files and assignments within the platform. It supports uploading single or multiple files, viewing file details, previewing files, publishing and unpublishing files, setting usage rights and restricting file access. User files are accessible through the user profile, course files are accessible within each enrolled course, and group files are accessible within each group where the user is a member.
